New Home: IFS & Indianapolis Senior Center
The Indiana Film
Society is proud to announce it has a new venue to
call home for our regular Fall and Spring film series:
the
Indianapolis Senior Center.
Starting in September, we will be screening films in
the ballroom at the Indianapolis Senior Center which
is located at 708 East Michigan Street, Indianapolis,
IN 46202. There is ample parking immediately adjacent
to the facility. (map)
I am extremely pleased to have found a supportive
partner in the Senior Center and look forward to a
great relationship with the fine folks there.
This Fall, the film series will be one film each month
(first Tuesday 7 - 9 PM). In the Spring, we plan to
expand, showing two films each month (first and third
Tuesdays).In
the meantime, I hope you’ll consider becoming a
member. The Film Society is a venerable institution
with over 20 years of great film events to its credit
here in the city. With our recent trials and
tribulations, we could use your financial backing.
I look forward to seeing you this Fall at our new
venue.
