Spring Film Series - Time Capsule
1968-69

Movies offer us a
snapshot view of the past – of history – of culture –
of issues that dominated the discussions of the day.
Whether the films are frivolous or meaningful, by
watching films from a specific period, we may come to
a better collective understanding of that era and
perhaps our own. This series will extend over the
Spring and Fall slate of films. In the Spring, we’ll
look at American films from 1968-69. Some of these
movies may seem like old friends; others you may be
seeing for the first time. |
